Welcome to My Site! I am an Assistant Professor of Accounting in the School of Business at George Mason University. I joined Mason in 2022 after obtaining my PhD from Temple University’s Fox School of Business. Prior to entering the PhD program at Temple, I spent seven years as an IT Auditor and Data Analytics Specialist at KPMG LLP. As a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Information Systems Auditor, I strive to bring my experience as a practitioner to both my teaching and research. Among a broad set of research interests related to auditing and financial reporting quality, I particularly enjoy studying the implications of emerging trends in information management (e.g., cloud services, adherence to privacy regulations) for firms and their auditors. In my free time, I enjoy golfing and traveling with my wife.
